sale shopping faves, recent purchase, wish list 2/25

Amanda

Pretty much every morning when I wake up, before I even get out of bed or get some water, I reach for my iPhone and check my email (and Facebook and Instagram, but that's another story). That's because my inbox is usually full of all sorts of tempting shopping info and today I thought I'd share a few things that caught my attention.

INHABIT - luxury knitwear. They do classic pieces with a modern twist. Plus, their stuff is always super soft and lasts a while. End of season sale is 70%(!) off retail prices. Tip: sign up for their email list and get an additional 10% off. My personal picks are:

Melange Crew Mock Neck. Was $358, now $107.40.

Cashmere Stretch V-Cardi. Was $428, now $128.40. More basic colors like black, grey and ivory are also included in the sale!

J.Crew. Additional 40% off sale prices. Lovely, but why can't we check in-store availability through the website? C'mon J.Crew, this update is so 2012, get with the program. Banana Republic lets you check availability and even lets you reserve items through their site. Now I have to actually pick up a phone to see if my pick is available locally to try on, which is key given that everything is final sale. Yes, I know, #firstworldproblems...

Collection black tweed jacket. Was $268, now $199.99. $119.99 after additional 40% off.

There are also a lot of great basic tees and tons of sweaters in the sale, so definitely check it out!

I just snagged this Theory piece from Nordstrom Rack. I may need cardigan/layering rehab.

Last but not least - my wish list! Well, this is not my entire wish list. Far from it. But here are a couple of pieces I'm planning and plotting to add to my wardrobe.

Oliver Peoples Braverman with rainbow lens. Ok, when it comes to sunglasses, I am a Barton Perreira girl through and through. It really does take a lot for me to wear anything else to the point where I already have a couple pairs of Oliver Peoples and I can't tell you the last time I wore them. That being said, I was planning to get a pair of BPs with a custom rainbow lens and I'm having the hardest time picking the frame and in getting one of my local optical shops to follow through and get it done for me. So it will just be easier to buy this pair from Oliver Peoples. Plus, I love the colors on the lens!

Chanel half-moon wallet on chain. I have another one of their wallet on chain bags and I use that thing nearly every day, I can't tell you how useful it is! I love this one because while it is the same bag on the inside, the outside looks completely different so I'll be able to regularly use both.
